Welcome to alexhosking.co.uk. I am a fine artist specialising in portrait commissions. I mainly use Oils on canvas and aim to capture a sitter's spirit and character within a painting, whilst using realism to portray an accurate visual likeness.
Whilst studying both art and photography, I have always found myself gravitating towards figurative work, and faces in particular. Growing up and living in London, a city so diverse in its range of characters, has provided me with a constant source of inspiration for my portraiture.
